The Plaid Veranda embodies our theme of comforts of home. Owner Judy Jones has been coming to Round Top for 22 years, and considers it to be like a second home.
“Round Top has become a second home to me. I have made so many friends,” she says. And adds, “From a shopping standpoint, I don’t think there is a more unique experience anywhere in the world!”
When it comes to making her selections for the show, it’s very personal to her. She describes her style as “whatever makes me smile or think ‘wow!” This is something her customers can feel. In helping them find that special piece that fits into their lifestyle or aesthetic, she says, “My customers are eclectic. I listen and ask questions. I hope the common denominator is trust. They know they are getting something unique.”
