Lisa Strait Vanpoucke has been collecting antiques for more than 20 years, a passion that turned into a business. Making frequent trips to Europe to hunt for special pieces, she has been showcasing her finds in Round Top since 2004.

“Round Top is a special place that's transformed into a treasure-filled town of things from around the world every six months. Anything from fine antiques, jewelry, modern furniture, rugs, to name a few, can be found there. It's an inspiration paradise for designers.”
As for her own inspiration, she says, “What I love most about what I do is the hunt for unusual treasures and using them in a new, unique way. My customer is one who doesn't want their home to look like everyone else’s. They appreciate unique furnishings of high quality and character.”
Her style is classic with a modern twist, and the pieces she is bringing to the fall show are a reflection of that.
“I have always loved very early stone and wood mixed with key elements that wow a room like a spectacular mirror. My mirrors and doors are really beautiful in this container. I also have really gorgeous Italian lamps with scale and color that I love to mix in with antiques. Murano glass has always excited me, and the lighting they produce is breathtaking.”
